Maybe I Am A Little Out There Because...

I went to 4 Walgreens and 1 CVS, did 2 transactions at each & ended up with...
(3) Biore cleansers (I only like the blemish fighting ice cleanser, of course I could only find 2)
(7) Biore strips (ultra version is worth it, even if it means 2 less than the regular version)
(4) Luster White 7 Toothpaste
(4) Carefree liners
(4) Kettle chips
(5) Easter pencils
(4) Easter grass
(7) Snickers Egg (not pictured. I was planning on using these as a filler, only found them at one store, it kinda messed up my totals)
Glue (.25c clearance filler)
Vinyl gloves ($1.39 sale, not $1.50 clearance boo, oh well filler that I need)
(2) 20oz. Coke Zeros (for my aunt and I, plus needed a filler)
.99 c bag of chips for my aunt
(4) Airwick kit (my next yard sale can't come soon enough I have so many)
Super Miracle Bubbles
RS chocolate bunny (not pictured, I needed this. I went to a different CVS, never again - so awful, this week all 4 of my Walgreens cashiers were good, CVS really let me down, I was surprised)

Walgreens Subtotal: $9.46 with tax total OOP: $16.74 plus I have a $5RR
CVS tax included total: $6.39 plus $7.73 in ECB
add in the Biore q's I paid $1.44, for an OOP total of $24.57 (I really don't like adding my next purchase off coupons to my savings because then I feel I'll add them to my savings twice, but if I did :) it would be $11.84)

I planning on making some prize packs for my family's Easter egg hunt, they will definitely have their fill of Airwicks and toothpaste. I just need to find something cute to wrap them in.

I am doing lots of shopping (is that so terrible?) I already have my next post planned out - just need to take the pictures.

I Went Off On A Few Tangents...

Even though I had an exam today I managed to squeeze in some shopping : )

First stop during lunch break @ Walgreens:
(14) Snickers eggs
Rimmel nail polish
Photo Stamps on clearance for $4.99! this comes with a certificate for 20 stamps, now the box has examples of the stamps worth .42 so maybe I have to throw in .2 but even at .42 that's $8.40 worth of stamps! plus I get to add my own (cute) pictures, which apparently is worth $19.99 (original price). I just placed my ordered they are for .44 stamps/$8.80 value + priceless cuteness.
 Total: $5.04 with tax: $5.75

After the exam stopped in at Walmart:
Ravoc batteries
Ivory 3 pack bar soap
Gain fabric softer sheet
Febreeze flameless candle, they were doing inventory, I found a maybe 4 of the Halloween scent, it wasn't ringing up the cashier wanted to give me half off the original price of $14.97, but I quickly offered $5, I have one already that I got at Wags for free + overage, but I figured for a dollar... oh plus the green tea citrus yuck, though I did pick up some willow blossom refills for .50
Subtotal: $1.06 with tax: $2.02
Now I don't think that was the greatest Walmart trip, I was also looking for the trial Purex sheets and the small Purina One boxes. Maybe that's why I have been going to Walgreens a lot lately, the store is small, you find (or don't find) what you are looking for and then you are out of there. Oh and the cashier wouldn't let me use a Revlon Wags CAT. Oh well didn't fight it.

2nd Walgreens stop:
(7) Snickers eggs
Revlon tweezers
Subtotal .52 with tax: .80 and I got another CAT for Revlon

And lastly Target:
(2) Purex crystals
Reese drops
Hershey drops
(2) Visine eye drops
Now this Target always always always gives me some sort of trouble, I was sizing up the 2 older female cashiers while I hid in the jewelry section, I decided to bite the bullet and just check out. I got the nicest cashier. She said, 'Wow are you going to end up getting these for free?' So great I wish I got her name so I could send her a compliment.
and I had an Elf waterproof eyeliner pen (I didn't want my total to be under $1, I was trying to wort off any trouble). Now let me just say I am not a fan of drugstore makeup, when they are available for a few cents I try to get nail polish or makeup remover. But these $1 eyeliners are the best! I love felt tip eyeliners, I've tried everything from $27 NARS to $17 MAC felt eyeliners, but let me tell you these are great. They don't dry out as fast, they go on pretty dark and they are $1! (But the absolute best was the from the Very Sexy line Victoria's Secret had out a long time ago, when they stopped making them that's when my search started, geez that was great liner :tear: I seriously just took a breath)
Oh so anyway, subtotal $2.24 with tax: $3.15

Total for the day: $11.72

7th Generation dish soap (I love this soap now) $2.69, used -1 TQ & -1MQ
Spongebob Valentines sillybands .50 (I know at 90% they are suppose to be .29, but the cashier came down from $1, I felt bad so agreed, how weird that they still had it.)
(2) Orbits $1.98 for both, used BOGO and (2) -.75TQ (cashier didn't give me overage)
Ibuprofen .99 used -1TQ
Excedrin $3.49, used -3TQ & -1MQ
Cherry chapstick four pack, $2.08 (I've seen q's on this, got it anyway, I use this everyday)
Crayola model magic $1.28
Crayola chalk maker $3.78
Scrapbook Kit, black dot- I thought it was $1, but it was $2.50 didn't know till after check out opps, .62
Subtotal was $14.02, with tax $15.51

Walgreens (I swear I can't pass wags without stopping)
(8) Snickers Easter Candy $2.32 (why didn't I just get 7?), -2MQ
(2) Rimmel Nail polish @ $1.99 each (they are 1/2), -2MQ (2)
Subtotal was .30, with tax .72, saved 13.71

So after I took this picture I was packing up the Circo tunic for my cousin, C, and I discovered a weird stain on the back, no wonder it made it down to 75% off, I ripped off the UPC code since it is a gift, now I'm not sure if I should try to return it (will they think I made the stain?) or just wash it and give it to her?

I'm not really sure of how to post my prices and q's, I did way more coupon info and it took forever. I guess it's back to specific item prices and then my subtotal with no q info.

Today was the 1/2 everything day at Goodwill, I made it into a total of one GW (my record is 5 8-} I know) and I didn't go till 8pm, I will post that later. I'm having crazy luck finding perfumes.

(Another) Quick Walgreens Stop

I had to go to a AZ state board of nursing meeting today for a school project. During the meeting I checked out thecentsableshoppin.com. There was a post about Windex cleaner being free when using a Walgreens booklet coupon and a MQ. Thankfully I had this in mind when I stopped in. I of course didn't have the MQ for Windex on hand, so I lucked out when they were just $4.19.

Transaction #1:
Almay makeup removal pads
Ferrero Rocher chocolates on clearance for $1.99 (I swear I never get this much chocolate it's just that right now they are just such good deals, and yes I did eat two in the car)
Subtotal was $3.18 with tax: $3.61 and got back a $5 RR

Transaction #2:
(3) Windex all in one
(3) Hertz cat flea drops also on clearance for $2
I used the Walgreens booklet Q and the $5 RR from the first transaction
Subtotal was $1 with tax I paid $2.73
The bottom of my receipt it says I saved $73.94

The cashier was so sweet and impressed, she also wanted to get in on the Windex deal. Her manager told me I should have taken their entire stock. They are being remodeled and she wants all the clearance gone. When it comes to using coupons the best I can hope for is an indifferent cashier especially when something is free, but it's so awesome to get a great cashier. I wish they were like this all the time.

A Quick Walgreens Stop

I decided to post my shopping trip(s) separately. I made a quick stop at Walgreens on my way home from class.
I bought:
(2) Airwick Freshmatic Compact iMotions
(2) Dove Milk Chocolate Bars
and while I was in the candy aisle I spotted this mixed chocolate fun sized bag on clearance for $1.59.
Along with using the usual Q's I also used a $1 RR to get this all for....
$1.31 (actually with our crazy high tax I paid a total of $2.17)

While I didn't find most of the things I was looking for I think it was an okay run.
