Happy Dance (Or Successful Thrift Store Shopping Day)

Arizona Goodwill's have a 20% off coupon when you purchase $10+, you can find it here. This makes great finds even better, everything posted is what I paid with said coupon. Anyway, I went to a couple GW's yesterday and found...

This perfect condition Simply Shabby Chic lamp shade in the British Rose print already cleaned up and on a lamp. I paid $1.59
These cute flower stem holders for .55c each, one is missing a vial, but I am sure I can find one.
This cute little mirror (that will be getting a makeover) was $1.19
This is my 2nd favorite find of the day, so pretty. It will also get a makeover (my sister thinks it shouldn't + she wants it). It was $3.19
and lastly, my score of the day (or is it month, possibly even year)
This giant and gorgeous baroque frame! (I know my backyard is an overgrown mess, the frame is in great condition but is very dusty) Isn't she pretty? I wasn't planning a GW stop after class since it's in the opposite direction from home, but at the last minute I decided to go and I found her. She was priced at $17.99, but I only paid $14.37! I don't know what color to paint her, I'm leaning towards pistachio, but open to suggestions. I'm going out of town for Easter (finally - I'm so excited!) so painting will have to wait.

I also spotted some other awesome things, but I didn't bring them home...

These darling cups were .99c each
Vintage pillowcases $1.49
I couldn't believe how high this was priced - $19.99. What?! I have the drawers closed in the picture, but they are broken. Wayy too much work needed for $20, at least for me.

April 23rd is my blogs 1 month anniversary, I won't be able to post then, but I just want to thank everyone for reading (1,639 pageviews and counting) and I want to especially thank my followers and everyone who's commented. Thank you thank you thank you!

  6. Arizona just has fabulous management of it's Goodwills because ours are horribly expensive and sadly nary a coupon. I broke up with our GW when paperback books became two dollars each and when I told the lady we broke up she looked at me strangely. But you did good! ♥O

  7. I know what you mean I broke up with Savers because they price things way too high - near retail and higher, it's ridiculous. But at least I have my GW!

  10. Congratulations on your blog-versary!

You found some cool stuff. Those stem holders are great! I wonder if a cigar glass would work in the one without a vial?

  14. Hello ,
Thanks for following us! We stopped by to check you out, and add you. You sure found some lovely treasures. We agree about the prices at the goodwill, alot of things are overpriced. We usually find the best things at rummage, thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales.
